1. Baby Shell for the baby’s first months
   A unique baby insert that provides the perfect recline angle for babies and has the same angle found in baby car seats. Baby Shell consists of a cushion insert and an outer shell for additional protection (Dynamic Force Absorber™). This increases safety in the event of side impacts and provides good comfort for the baby. Baby Shell comes together with our soft Newborn Hugger. This is an extra cushion that hugs and supports the youngest babies.
2. Rear facing from birth up to 7 years
   Because with BeSafe Stretch B, your child can sit rear facing from birth until they’re around 7 years old (125 cm and with a weight of 36 kg). This means that you only need to buy one seat that fits the entire rear-facing period.
3. Unbeatable legroom
   It’s easy to adjust the legroom on Stretch B using the front bar. Can be adjusted as your child grows by up to 26 cm. Plenty of space and comfort, even for a 7-year-old.
4. Easy and flexible installation
   You can easily install your seat with your car’s own safety belt in just a few steps, without having to depend on where the ISOFIX attachment points are in your car. This means that you can also install Stretch B in the front passenger seat, which can be handy with a small baby. The belts attached to the anchorage point in the floor retract automatically, making it easier to install correctly. Simple locking and tensioning mechanism ensures everyone can get a secure installation.
5. Unique frame for maximum safety
   The car seat has a unique outer frame that absorbs impact energy in the event of a frontal collision. What’s more, the back of the seat is extra-rigid to keep the child in a stable position in the event of an impact.

Why did we make BeSafe Stretch B? 

We got a fantastic response from parents all around the world when we launched Stretch (a car seat that fits children from 6 months to 7 years). The demand for a seat that could be used right from birth was high, so we decided to launch a ‘B- version’. B stands for Baby.

The story behind Stretch and Stretch B: Most parents say that they turn their children to face forward when they are about 3–4 years. But did you know that the safest option is for children to stay sitting rear-facing for even longer?

Based on this evidence, we have done our utmost to create a car seat that delivers outstanding performance in crash tests, even for children right up to 7 years. Consumer insights show that a big problem with rear-facing seats is that children grow out of their seat due to their weight before they reach 125 cm. That’s why we set ourselves an ambitious goal that Stretch should be able to bear a weight of 36 kg while still having enough legroom for older children. No other car seat manufacturer has ever managed this. We’ve been making child car seats since 1963 and now, we’ve used the experience from all these years to develop this one seat.
