Our Original Mattress

The Organic cot mattress was our founding product and where our story began in 2007. We set out to make a mattress in an honest and simple way that provided the best support for babies. Handmade using luxury certified organic ingredients with extra layers of hypo-allergenic organic wool for added comfort, our organic cot mattress has been a hit with parents ever since.

The Core

The mattress core is created from Coconut fibres blended together with Natural Latex to act as thousands of tiny springs, providing your baby with the firm support recommended by safe sleep experts, whilst reducing individual pressure points and the risk of dipping.

The Lining

The core is then wrapped in a layer of natural Wool. Wool brings an abundance of benefits to your little sleeper, it’s naturally Hypo-allergenic and temperature regulating with excellent breathability. It’s also a natural defence against dust mites and a natural fire retardant, meaning that our mattresses pass the UK and European Fire Regulation Tests without the need of any chemical fire retardant sprays.

The Cover

Holding all these layers together is a luxury Herringbone cotton cover. The cover helps aid the breathability of the mattress and is super soft for baby’s delicate skin, so they can sleep comfortably time and time again.

• A waterproof mattress protector is required – We recommend using our breathable 100% waterproof mattress protector to keep your mattress in the best possible condition, protecting your mattress from accidents and spillages.
• Non-removable outer cover, sponge clean only. If the mattress and bed frame are sponge cleaned, you MUST ensure they have been allowed to air dry fully before use.
