Choosing the perfect Car Seat for your newborn baby can often be a complicated task, however, at Olivers Babycare we want to make this as simple as possible for you. You can refer to our Car Seat Buying Guide if you need more information on different Car Seat groups before you jump in.
A newborn Car Seat is classified as Group 0+ and is suitable for babies from birth through to 13kg, which is approximately 12 months of age. Within the UK, there are strict laws that ensure babies are rearward facing until 9kg or 15 months old. As you will know, your little one grows before you know it so most of the Car Seats within the Group 0+ range will have adjustable features including a headrest and padded inserts which you can remove as your baby grows.
